STEM Dear 3rd grade parents, I hope everyone had a good first day of distance learning. Be sure to check out my website for a variety of STEM activities your family can complete at home. I would love to see any STEM projects or activities you are working on. To that end, below I have attached a QR code for Seesaw. If you have not used Seesaw, this website acts like a social media site for a classroom. While here students can upload draws of plans, photos of builds, and videos of their projects in action. Additionally, students can comment on others’ work and leave likes when they find something interesting. To ensure student safety please do not post this QR code on the internet. Can’t wait to see your work, Michael Hanft
Counselors
While students are virtually learning, the Davis School Counseling Department is still available to support our students and their academic, social, and emotional needs. Mrs. Plomaritis and Ms. Bernier will be available for immediate consultation through email during virtual office hours Monday through Friday from 9:00-10:30. They will also be answering emails and concerns received outside of virtual office hours within 24 hours (usually much sooner). If you find that your student/family is struggling emotionally, academically or financially during this time please do not hesitate to reach out to Mrs. Plomaritis ( [email protected] ) or Ms. Bernier ( [email protected] ). Many resources are included on our counseling website including information for those in need of food, internet or additional services. You can find our counseling website on the Davis website under counselors or at this link http://www.cobbk12.org/Davis/counselors.aspx. Thank you and we hope to see you all soon!
