During the month of February and kicking off our 9th annual “Make Kindness Cool” Week, our school is joining forces with the CSCA (Cobb School Counselor Association) to sponsor a drive to collect items for two non-profit organizations that help children and families. We would like to help The Ronald McDonald House and Kate’s Club. Ronald McDonald Houses provide a place for families to call home so they can stay close by their hospitalized child at little or no cost, being able to focus on the health of their child. Kate’s Club provides a positive, uplifting environment to help grieving children ages 5 – 18 experiencing the death of a parent, sibling or primary caregiver. Since February is Random Acts of Kindness Month and next week is Teacher Appreciation Week, we will be encouraging students to focus on kindness, respect and appreciation of each other. We are asking each grade level to donate specific items as listed below to help these 2 organizations. If you would like for your child to participate, please send in the item listed below for the grade level of your child, starting next week and continuing until the end of February. Thank you for your support and generosity.
